Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, customer portal, and desktop applications provided by Goofer, trading as GooferLabs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using our products, you agree to these Terms.

Licenses

When you purchase a Cassette license you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on your own devices. A license key is bound to your device on activation. An "early access" or "lifetime" license entitles you to the software and its updates for the lifetime of the product; it does not guarantee any specific future feature or an indefinite service term.

Acceptable use

• Do not share, resell, sublicense or publish your license key.
• Do not attempt to circumvent, tamper with or reverse engineer the licensing system.
• Do not use the Services to break the law or infringe others' rights.

We may suspend or revoke a license that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these Terms, including keys that are shared or tampered with.

Payment, taxes & refunds

Prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise; applicable tax is added at checkout. Payments are processed by our providers (Polar, which acts as merchant of record, and PayPal). Because a license key is delivered to you immediately and grants full access to the software, purchases are generally non-refundable once the key has been issued. If something goes wrong with your purchase, contact us and we will try to make it right.

Availability & changes

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during early access, and features may change, be added or removed as the product develops. We aim to keep the licensing and download services running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here affects mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
